Before we get started.
Everything you need to know about appointments, insurance, virtual care, and working together.

Most extended health plans cover registered dietitian services, though coverage varies by plan, so it's worth checking yours. I don't direct bill, but you'll get a receipt you can submit for reimbursement.
-
No referral is required. You can book directly with me whenever you're ready.
-
I support clients with a wide range of nutrition concerns, including:
Body composition goals
Women's health
Sports and performance nutrition
Digestive health (GI concerns)
Iron deficiency
Pre-diabetes and blood sugar management
Heart health and cholesterol
Building a healthier relationship with food

Yes! I offer both virtual and in-person appointments, making it easy to access nutrition support wherever you are. I'm licensed to practice in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Nova Scotia.
-
Yes, and I'll be honest with you about how. You can lose weight quickly, but odds are you'll gain it back the moment you start eating normally again. I'd rather help you do it in a way you can actually hold onto, which takes longer and works better.
-
Definitely not. My philosophy is all about fueling, not restricting. Rather than focusing on what to eliminate, we'll look at how to add foods that support your energy, performance, and overall health while still making room for the foods you enjoy.
-
No. Most clients do track at some point, because it's hard to change something you can't see. But it's a tool, not a requirement, and it isn't the point. If tracking isn't right for you, we find another way to make it work.
-
No. Women's health is my area of specialization, but I work with men too, and the underlying work is the same. If you're training hard and want to know whether you're fuelling it properly, you're in the right place.
-
We talk. Your health history, your training, what you're eating now, and what you're actually trying to get to. You'll leave with a plan and a clear first step, not a lecture about what you've been doing wrong.
-
I practice from Fettle & Food. Whether you choose to meet at the clinic or virtually, you'll receive the same personalized support tailored to your goals.
-
No. A meal plan works right up until real life doesn't match it. I'd rather teach you how to put a meal together yourself, so you can do it anywhere, on any week, without me. That takes longer than handing you a PDF, and it's the part that actually sticks.

Nutrition coaching runs in three-month blocks, because that's roughly how long it takes for changes to stop feeling like effort and start feeling normal. Plenty of clients stay longer. The goal, though, is that you eventually don't need me.
